This Chopping Block features a cutting surface constructed of premium end-grain Walnut and Cherry, ensuring an extremely durable block that’s easy on your knives. When cutting or chopping, the end-grain wood fibers absorb the impact of the blade, keeping your knives sharper for longer than with ordinary wood or acrylic boards. The forgiving end-grain surface is also resistant to nicks and gouges—which prevents bacteria from entering the wood, extends its longevity, and keeps the board looking new longer.

Wood Cutting Boards are not Dishwasher Safe. Hand wash only with soap and water and treat every so often (about once a month) with a light coat of mineral oil. If scratches appear, a light sanding will bring it back to new condition.
