The Tire Track Cutting Board is constructed using the end grain, the costliest cut of wood. This is the type of cutting board preferred by professional chefs for its ability to allow your cutlery to maintain its edge. Great care is taken to create an end-grain design that is both appealing to the eye and be a truly functional piece of "art". Every Cutting Board and Chopping Block is assembled using only FDA approved waterproof glue. Each is then finished with a combination of mineral oil and pure beeswax to create an elegant food-safe finish.

This board comes with a juice groove on one side and finger holds on the ends. This allows you to cut meat on one side without worrying about juices dripping off of the board and flip the board over to cut vegetables on the other side.
