This is a 7"x5" Monkey face trinket box. Cherry box with Cherry, Maple and Walnut inlaid. A trinket box fit for those little monkey's that you love.

The entire box was made by hand (well, ok, I use power tools, but no computers) and the inlay was cut by hand using a scroll-saw. The lid is attached with brass hinges, mortised into the sides for a smooth, evenly-closing lid. The finish is polyurethane, rubbed out to a smooth satin feel.
