Hand turned wood salt and pepper shakers, exotic wood pepper mills hand turned from Banksia nut.
This special Pepper Mills are made from a large pinecone like nut called the Banksia Nut. The Banksia Nut is the fruit of a small tree which grows in the Jarrah Forest in the remote deserts of Western Australia. The Banksia nut becomes very hard and solid after years of drying which makes them ideal for turning. Exotic wood is added to Accent the character and contributing to its uniqueness.
The Pepper Mill uses peppercorns. The peppercorns will not come out of the Banksia Nut- the holes because they are too narrow in the center. The Mills come with high quality grinding mechanisms that will last a life time. The Pepper Mills are not only handcrafted and functional; they are a piece of art with a story behind them.
