Resting on solid walnut feet is a slab of Bird's Eye Maple that is second to none. It's clear, luminescent maple with bird's eye deformities in the wood that's polished to a satin gloss. They have a food safe finish that lets the natural color and beauty show right on through. Any maki would be happy sitting on one of these. They measure 7"deep by 11" wide and stand approx. 2" tall.
Please don't hide it away in a cabinet....

Free Gift Wrapping
We'll be happy to giftwrap any item you like, just add this no charge item to your order. We wrap our gift packages in numerous sheets of vanilla colored tissue paper and tie them off with natural and colored rafia. We wrap our butcher blocks and cutting boards in brown craft paper and tie them off with natural and green rafia. Since these products are treated with mineral oil before they leave our shop, the craft paper will regulate moisture for the products during shipment. Sometimes they arrive with a bit of mineral oil on the craft paper. That's the nature of the beast though. Gift cards are also free so be sure to include a message if you like.
