This cheese cutting board starts with three types of woods handpicked for their intricate grain and rich colors. Each serving board comes with a handcrafted 6 inch wood cheese knife. These cutting or serving board consists of Maple, Walnut and Purple Heart woods. Naturally hygienic boards will stand up to the most rigorous cheese slicing. Cutting or serving boards make unique gifts.

Care and cleaning of Cheese Board and Knife

These are made of natural wood and sealed with a food safe oil. The best way to clean is wipe with dish cloth and mild dish detergent, rinse and dry.

Do not soak in water or put in dishwasher.

Over time they need to be re-oiled. Walnut oil (available from larger grocery stores or health food stores), works best because it lasts longer, enhances the natural beauty of the wood, and will not go rancid. Olive oil also works, but needs to be used more frequently than the Walnut oil. Other oils are Raw Linseed Oil or mineral oil.
