These White Oak round butcher blocks are built to last. Remember the old trucks and wagons probably last seen in the early 60's, they were made using white oak for a reason; white oak is weather resistant and still one of the most durable woods available today.

These blocks are constructed using the end-grain preferred by top chefs for their ability to help your cutlery maintain its edge. Much care was given to create an end-grain design that was appealing to the eye. It was assembled using FDA approved waterproof glue and finished with a combination of mineral oil and pure beeswax to create an elegant food safe satin sheen.

All Wood butcher blocks are not Dishwasher Safe. Hand wash only with soap and water and treat every so often (about once a month) with a light coat of mineral oil. If properly cared for you will enjoy many years of use and enjoyment. If scratches appear, a light sanding will bring it back to new condition.
