This is a 7"x5" Comedy & Tragedy masks trinket box. The box is made of cherry with the inlay of walnut and maple. The entire box was made by hand (well, ok, I use power tools, but no computers) and the inlay was cut by hand using a scroll-saw. The lid is attached with brass hinges, mortised into the sides for a smooth, evenly-closing lid. The finish is polyurethane, rubbed out to a smooth satin feel.
